A note about The Ethical Dilemma:
I am deeply committed to social workers achieving stability through labor justice, racial justice, financial integrity, and professional mobility. I dedicate my Fridays to researching and disseminating employment opportunities that you can be proud of which include:
Minimum Educational Requirement + Salary: MSW, within range of $60,000 annually
Since Salary Transparency passed in NYC, I have noticed that many listings, especially entry-level clinical positions, do not meet my standards. It's insulting and I don't want social workers entering relationships with agencies that are disrespecting us. Because I'm unwilling to compromise my standards, sometimes that means I will post fewer listings than I would like to see in this newsletter.
